Former Member of Parliament and former Minister of Industries, Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, has been taken into custody by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
He was apprehended early Wednesday (September 25) in Gulshan, Dhaka.
The arrest was confirmed by RAB’s Legal and Media Wing Director, Lieutenant Colonel Munim Ferdous.
According to him, Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun faces charges related to an assault, attack, and the murder of students and civilians during anti-discrimination student protest in Madhabdi, Narsingdi, on August 4. Legal proceedings are currently in progress.
