The Cabinet Division has set a rule that advisors of the interim government and people of the same rank, along with their spouses, must submit a report of their income and assets within 15 working days after filing their annual income tax return.
On Tuesday, October 1, a notification titled “Policy for Reporting Income and Assets of Advisors and Equal Status Persons of the Interim Government, 2024” was issued.
As per the notice, they must send their income and asset reports to the Chief Advisor through the Cabinet Division within 15 working days after the last date for filing income tax returns.
If their spouses earn separately, their income and asset reports should also be submitted at the same time.
The Chief Advisor will decide how and when to make these reports public in an appropriate way.
