Islamic speaker Mizanur Rahman Azhari is back in the country. He shared the news on Wednesday through his verified Facebook page, saying, “Alhamdulillah, I have safely returned to my beloved homeland. May Allah bless this return.”
His uncle, Mosharraf Hossain, also posted a photo of him welcoming Azhari with flowers at the airport. He wrote, “Alhamdulillah, our beloved leader is now in Bangladesh.”
Azhari has been living in Malaysia since 2020. Earlier this year, after the mass protests in August, he said he planned to return.
On Facebook, he told his followers that many had asked when he would come back, and he was looking forward to meeting them soon in a Bangladesh that is free and fair, built on equality and humanity.
He also honored the martyrs of the movement and prayed for the injured, praising those still fighting for justice despite facing difficulties.
